SATURDAY, JUNE 19th from 3:00pm-6:00pm
Samsara/Samara opens Saturday, June 19th, at Agenda and is open through July 25th by appointment W-S 11am-4pm. This new immersive site-specific installation reimagines ‘helicopters’ in cut paper, enticing the viewer to contemplate the cycle of life, both physical and spiritual. Each samara was hand-dyed and/or painted and suspended from numerous maple ‘branches.’ Dimensions: 7’x3’x 9’ Smaller works will also be on display and available for purchase.
The artist reception is from 3:00pm-6:00pm in the adjoining gallery parking lot, perfect for summer/pandemic gathering. Masks required. Beverages will be served. I look forward to seeing you all there before I depart!
